Dr. Dave's passion for dentistry started at a young age while growing up in Sugar Land, TX. Throughout his four years at Austin High School, he frequently visited his dentist for braces adjustments — and even had a root canal and crown along the way. Those visits helped him realize his true calling: to be a dentist who could serve his community and be a strong role model for others.
He completed his Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude, then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Dave furthered his education in Brooklyn, New York, completing a one-year general practice residency where he focused on implant dentistry.
Through his education and experiences, Dr. Dave aims to provide personalized patient care while striving for clinical excellence. He believes in transparency, strong communication, and building a trustworthy relationship with every patient — providing quality, comforting care with knowledge, experience, passion, and enthusiasm.
When he's not saving lives one tooth at a time, Dr. Dave is spending time with his wife (and fellow Deer Park Dental Group dentist, Dr. Mili Shah), catching a Houston sporting event, or playing basketball and tennis with his buddies. He recently developed a love for baking desserts and making pizzas from scratch.
